“God healed me from sadness that consumed my heart”

Victim of depression in the past, Valdir dos Reis, 39, resident in Parque Continental, São Paulo, tells what God did in his life. “I used to feel myself empty, without love in my life, I didn`t want to continue here while I underwent very hard times of sadness which seemed endless. I didn`t have any kind of pleasure and as time went by, I could hear voices inside of me telling me to put an end to all that which was very easy because I just needed to die.

I heard that voice on my mind so many times that I tried to commit suicide. I had a bit of acid sure that I would die, but it wasn`t what took place. I spent eight days hospitalized at the ICU, with serious issues with internal organs living between life and death. My wife was the pone who found me at home, fallen on the ground and took me to the doctor.

At the hospital, while I was hospitalized the responsible doctor told her to search for a funeral home in São Vicente because my condition was irreversible. It was that moment that I could realize how big mistake I made as well as the suffering I caused to my wife`s life. It was when a relative who lives far from us stopped by to visit us and brought the invitation for us to watch the program of the Worldwide Church of God`s Power. My wife came to the Worldwide City of God`s Dreams and got the little towel Be You A Blessing with my father and brought to the ICU. She placed it on the bed. From that day on, everything has changed in my life. My life restarted God healed me completely not only from acid but also from sadness which harmed my heart. Everything turned into a blessing. Today, I have satisfaction in my life, I have prosperity, health, peace, and soon I will turn into a parent for the glory of God. Jesus and this ministry changed my history”.
