"I was defeated due to the addiction of drugs", says Hélio Pereira Dantas, 45 years old, resident in Araras, São Paulo. "I started using drugs at the age of fifteen, in bars, pool games and drinks. I used to play well, earned money, drank and then bought drugs to use. Walk and kept in places I didn't even know, to get the drugs I wanted. I've been with dangerous people and made enemies. I spent about twenty years of my life, lost my family, lost assets, ended up living in a wooden shack with a battery operated radio, chased by men who wanted to put an end to my life and depending on alcohol, drugs and gambling. I was ruined when I heard a preaching of the Apostle Valdemiro Santiago on the radio, for the first time in my life, telling the great deliverance which he received from God in Africa and started to believe in God through him.

In my faith, if God could do all that, could save me, change my life, and help me. I asked God to get rid of my persecutors, who didn't let me die and, in a few days, I found myself running from fifteen armed men shooting at me, while I was in the middle of the woods and I know that I escaped due to the mercy of God. After that, I thanked the Lord and searched for a temple of the Worldwide Church of God`s Power.

In this work, God changed my history. He freed me from addiction, drinking, cigarette, drugs, provided me with the best, He gave me everything I lost, my confidence and control of my life as well, that I gave in to Him. God gave me a car, work and true joy. This work is a miracle of God in my life "
