"The doctors called me to die at home."

"Suddenly, at home, I felt a headache, a urge to vomit, I told my son and he rushed me to the hospital. When he came back, an hour later, he saw me tied up in the hospital bed with his right leg swollen and said: "This leg is not from my mother," explains Maria de Fátima Pereira da Fonseca, 39, a resident of Santa Terezinha, Mato Thick.

"All the symptoms I felt were because of a bacterium that manifested in my leg, an infection that lasted three months. The doctors wanted to amputate the leg because they believed the bacteria would spread throughout my body. My husband would not have my leg cut off and the doctors called me to die at home, claiming our negligence in not allowing treatment.

I returned home suffering, trapped in bed and in a wheelchair. A friend who visited me invited me to come with her to the World Church of the Power of God in Santa Terezinha. In the church, the bishop asked what I had, prayed for me and God got me upright, healed me. Since then, I am grateful to the Lord and this work is everything in my life, I glorify God very much. "
