Mark 5:23 tells us the history of Jairus whose daughter was about to die. Persistently, he claimed Jesus for help, but he was hopeful. He believed that when Jesus put His hands on his daughter, she would be healed

However, on the way, what Jairus heard was a word of death. The power of the word is very strong as the word spoken as the word heard. Several times people pay attention to words the say in order not to confess failure. They are concerned about just confessing victories. There is also the word you hear. The word Jairus heard was “Your daughter already died”.

Jesus don`t feel himself bothered at helping us. Thus, He wasn`t bothered to follow Jairus. Observe that the word “died” came to Jairus and not to Jesus. Jesus didn`t care about the word of death that was brought to Jairus who heard and might have felt himself very annoyed being a father. What have you been hearing? What have you been concerned about? People are used to paying attention to invaluable and evil things sometimes. Jesus used to live differently from us in terms of faith. He didn`t mind the word of failure. He heard it, but he didn`t burden himself. He told Jairus not to be afraid, just believe though. In order to perform miracles in your life, Jesus just asks for you to believe. Devil uses other people to say words that take your faith down in the interest of depriving you of being blessed. He will keep you away from being blessed by God. He never uses anyone. He always uses close people who you rely on such as authorities or family members. When David confronted Goliath, Devil used the king Saul, but David didn`t hear the king. He listened to God and the giant fell down. The world is full of people who wish you to get desperate and hear the maleficent words. The chief of the synagogue brought bad words. Jesus told Jairus not to be afraid of, but believe. The end of the history, as we know, Jesus revived the twelve-year-old girl in front of everyone. It`s stated in verse 42. Devote your time to worship God along with His words. In general, people work eight hours, spend from forty minutes to two hours to get to work, other two hours to come back, time to study, time to the family, time to sleep and among all this, how many times do you hear good words? God`s words? Words of faith? We spend longer being involved with the world subjects, so we hear many bad words that come from the world. We need to be fed with God`s word. The problem is what we have been listening to as well as how many good things take part in our lives. By the time you leave this text, you will have a word of faith, good word to your life, in other words, God`s word. In Ecclesiastes it is said that we must not allow our heart to be involved with everything we hear. We can`t pay attention to everything we hear. We have to believe in God`s word. We will just understand it if we listen to it. If we don`t listen to the word, there is no faith. The faith is build by listening to the preaching of God`s Word. Bad words you discharge and good words you keep to your life. You will be happy living this way. Church, even if everyone and everything seems against you, don`t be afraid and just believe. Jesus is together with you.
