Beware of what you think

No bad influence can rob the heart of who knows that he is son of God

When we turn on the TV, access the social networks or browse through a magazine, we undergo several attempts to influence our thoughts.

If in us there is certainty of the identity that God has assigned to us nothing will be able to change our choices.

The Bible teaches us that the children of God are led by the Spirit of God. There is no force, no fashion, no culture ... nothing will prevail over who is determined to follow the standards of heaven. "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God," Romans 8:14. Without this interference we are lost. There is such a large volume of information that there are times when the right seems wrong and the wrong the right. In the midst of all this confusion, you may ask yourself, "What is my reference?" Your reference is and will always be the WORD OF GOD. The apostle Paul warns his disciple Timothy to depart from what he would seek to steal from his heart and to distance his mind from what is close to the values of "good doctrine." He even compares these false teachings to fables, stories invented to entertain people by saying what they wanted rather than what they needed to hear. "Exposing these things to the brethren, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished by the words of faith and of the good doctrine that you have followed", 1 Timothy 4: 6. Paul knew where his heart was: in God. And in Him He desired to abide. And your heart where it is? What has occupied your thoughts? Know that the love of God wants to penetrate every part of your mind and teach you to live so that you will enjoy all the dreams and promises He has reserved for your history and family.
