Make the Lord your shield

Even surrounded by adversaries, David knew who he relied

There is no one who never underwent adversities and many people get closer to God due to adversities. David was famous for serving God and was victorious for the merci of God. Figure out his own son, Absalom, decided to kill him. David kept hiding himself from his own son and followed recommendations for not abandoning his own confidence. When you have good news, few people are confident in Him, but the strength gets to its edge, it`s necessary to believe in Him and persevere. You don`t have to blaspheme in difficult moments or run away, stop, give up, get desperate. You have to believe in Him.

Supposedly, we pray, seek, and things seem not to go forward. David underwent that situation. It happens to us because we don`t see God`s work. That`s why the recommendation is for us to live by the faith. If God showed us what He prepares for us, we would live calmly. According to your point of view, the number of your adversaries has increased, but according to God`s view, they don`t even exist anymore.

In psalm 3: 1, David made the same mistake of numbering his adversaries, those which God has already defeated. For being pursuit by his own son, they said there was no salvation for David in God, so, this gossip got to him. There`s salvation in God for everyone. There`s a solution for those who believe in Him and that`s true. If someone says there is no salvation in God, that`s a lie. There`s solution for everyone in God. Anything that comes against you, remember that God is your shield, so first the problem hits God, so nothing can hit you. David became a warrior, a strategist person, Saul`s army general and later, the king. So, this situation came. People used to say there was no solution and David made God his shield. Every time someone disturbs you life, if you do the same as David, you will live in peace. Who can resist God`s Power? Even with his son and other adversaries, David said: I sleep because God supports me. That`s the way the human being who puts own life in God`s hands is, Never mind anything that is against you or surrounds you. David saw many adversaries surrounded him. We are with God and at the church because we want support, so God will be with us in our battles, struggles. We are at the church to worship the Lord on whom we rely. When you are under difficulties to sleep, pray and declare that God is your shield and keep calm. The Lord will hold everything that comes against you.
