The nation of Israel passed through the desert and was about to enter in the land of Canaan, the Land God promised. God told Moses, “Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.” Numbers 13:2 So, there were twelve men chosen to spy the land, when they came back, they brought the answer to Moses, “And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it..” Numbers 13:27 And so, I ask you: Was the good land God promised real? Yes, it was real and it was a productive land. God is the same from yesterday, today, and ever. So, that promise He made in your life is real, what He promised will be fulfilled. But, we have to understand that every good thing has its price. In order to conquer the Promised Land, they had to overcome all of barriers. “Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.” Numbers 13:28. So, for us to occupy our land, we have to act by faith and never mind difficulties. Unfortunately, there are people who always come up with obstacles and never believe it`s possible. But, it`s necessary to regard it as a way of opportunity; it`s necessary to look at that situation with faithful eyes. Many may not forecast a way out, but to the living God, there is! Like Caleb faithfully saw that opportunity “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it” Numbers 13:30

Look at that problem with faithful eyes, be close to Christ, and tell that condition that your God is bigger, your God is Almighty, and He turns the impossible thing possible.

We can see Moses received two words, one of discouragement “there`s no way out”, “the nation is very powerful”, “we will lose it” , “the enemy is very strong” , on the other hand, we can see a motivational one: “let`s go” “we will win” “God is with us”. Unfortunately, in our life it`s not different, we receive words to unmotivated us and one word of motivation. But we have to pay attention to the word that motivate us. We have to be sure that what matters the most is that Jesus Christ delivers us, heals us, brings life, comforts us, and changes any condition. The one, who serves God, overcomes all of difficulties and sings the hymn of victory in the end. Be faithful and you will overcome that barrier Because of the people`s insecurity towards God, the Lord got upset at them, and as punishment, they had to walk for more forty years in the desert. “Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:” Numbers 14:23. This way, they didn`t get to the Promised Land just the next generation could benefit from God`s promise. Never doubt about what God promised you, never mind difficulties, but look at God. In order to have a great miracle, it`s necessary to have a great battle. Be faithful because God is with you.
