Let The Past Behind

God doesn`t want you to be looking at your past

God does His best job in our lives, and today, He wants to work by providing you with guidance. Directions for you to get out of your problems, instructions for you to have your home restored, for you to be delivered from addiction, to be healed, guidance for your finance, direction in the area, which you have been searching for a solution. In Luke 17:32 it is said: “Remember Lot’s wife!” Who was Lot? Lot was Abraham`s nephew and lived with his family in Sodom, the city that God would destroy together with Gomorrah because sins led those places. The Lord sent two angels to talk to Lot and told him he had to quit that place and he couldn`t look back because God would make him a salt statue. That`s the way it was. At the moment of the breakout, Lot`s wife turned backward and immediately became a salt statue. Why did God write this excerpt again in the Bible? Why did He ask for us to remember about Lot`s wife? Turning backward refers to look at our past. Lot`s wife was tied to the past, and she wanted to see the city, her life while she was there, and God fulfilled what He said. At the moment she turned backward, God made her a salt statue.

Brothers and sisters, God wants to bless you, He wants to provide you with a new life. But, in order to do so, you have to leave your past behind. Everything that hurt you must be in the past; that partner that cheated on you must be in the past; that fight with your family must be in the past; the disease must be in the past. Today, God is providing you with the guidance for a better and new life.

Maybe you ask yourself why God doesn`t operate in your life, why your life doesn`t go forward, but the answer is simple, you have to quit your past for your life to go forward. God is waiting for you to give the first step for Him to do the rest. God doesn`t want you to keep looking back because He is at the head. You have to keep your focus on Jesus Christ. He is at the head of your path with His arms open waiting for you to give the first step. The day of tomorrow belongs just to God, I mean, you have to give your only step quitting your past for you to live the present with lifestyle and the rest God will provide you.
