NONSTOP PRAYER

The only way for us to win the battles is to pray nonstop.

In Acts 12.1-3 it`s written: “It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them. He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword. When he saw that this met with approval among the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also.” Herod set a strong security service as if it were to monitor a dangerous and violent man. The intention was to keep the God`s man to be used as a show for those people. However, the church prayed nonstop in his favor. Those faithful ones knew that arresting, humiliating, and killing was a common practice during the festival of Unleavened Bread, Easter time.

The truth is that we can`t stop, give up, get unmotivated, or weaken before huge obstacles that the life puts on our path. We have to keep praying, seeking because God is loyal about His promises. He fulfills all of them. He never fails.

Humanly speaking, it was impossible for Peter to escape from that sad, humiliating, and depressing situation. He was handcuffed with his feet chained and monitored 24 hours by reliable security systems. But, at the previous night before his judgment, an angel appeared and asked him to run away. Peter`s chains opened up itself, and he followed the angel passing by guards and getting out of that place. The iron gate that accessed the town opened itself, and Peter ran away. When the angel disappeared all of a sudden, Peter understood what had happened. A light lit the prison and released him from that jail. It was all that he needed on that anguishing day. There are moments in our lives that we become sad and we keep waiting for the same light that released Peter from jail. He was so anointed that even his shadow could heal people, but at that awkward moment, he didn`t have a solution until the moment when the angel appeared. Bringing this situation to the present days, maybe you feel this way too, in other words, with the devil`s soldiers by your side. They have the purpose of not allowing you to walk ahead, so, even if you can`t find a solution for your condition just keep praying. Actually, the devil can`t do anything wrong to you. He is a defeated one, and he is aware of that. However, he never agrees with the condition of being defeated, and he insists on having one or other give in at his feats. The only way for us to win the battles is to pray nonstop. Maybe someone looks at your life and thinks there is no way out for you to escape from this financial difficulty you are going through, or from this health condition, emotional problem or marriage issues you are passing by, but be sure that, if you pray nonstop, God will provide you with a solution. Never stop fighting. Pray and believe in Him. God bless you and save you.
