You have to vigil and stand up in order to fight, but let God fight for you

The Lord`s Angel in Judges 6.11 found Gideon working on the wheat, job given to the least important one in the house. You have to be sure that even if you are the least important person, but if God is very important to you, soon you become very important to everyone and you will take over the leading role. The king David also was the least important at his home and God elected him the king. His brothers were good-looking, amazingly beautiful, strong looking, and impacted the Prophet Samuel in thought and Samuel was the Prophet. But the Lord said that He never sees as a man, He sees the outer side, but pays attention to the inner side. This is how God chooses. When the Angel found Gideon, he was bitter. Eventually, we can all go through bitterness, but if we want to see God in our life and we know Him, our life changes. With everything that Gideon went on he didn't lose his faith and love for God. His parents and family used to tell Gideon that God was good, wonderful and freed from Egypt. Israel's situation was complicated and every year in which the people of God were reaping the wheat, the Midianites, grown up, beat, stole the food, killing, raping and carrying prisoners. The angel appeared and told Gideon that God was with him, in his most difficult moment. As preacher of the word of God, I maintain that the Angel of the Lord appeared in your life many times and even today the angel appears. He doesn't come with wings, only sometimes. This Angel appeared to Abraham as a man and Abraham hosted him, made him food, without knowing. How many times the Prophet, after talking, realized it was an Angel. And how many times he appeared in your life and you didn't confess victory, not celebrated. Church, when God's Word reaches us to motivate us, that is the Angel of the Lord who comes. Gideon was grumpy; he was about to give up when the angel appeared to him. There were odds and many struggles in Gideon`s life and his people told him the same as the Angel. We go through situations that make it look like God is not with us, but He is because God is always with us.

You can be at the limit of your capabilities, I affirm that the Lord is with you and you will see it. Gideon did not understand very well, the Angel questioned why he spent everything, why so many adversities.

How many times a friend or relative wondered the same about you. The devil is the one who questions that in your life. Gideon was empty-handed, hiding the wheat in order not to starve to death and the Angel saying that God was with him. In John 15, Jesus said that if we stay with God, He will continue with us and will fulfill the desire of our hearts. 2 Chronicles 15 says that if we stay with God, He will stay with us, He leaves us only if we give up. It is to you that God says: I am with you. In Revelation, it is said that the pastor of a church is the Angel of the Church, then I come to tell you that the Lord is with us. The circumstances and the reality of the facts may not tell us that, but faith will say so. There are stages of life we found that nothing worked, but the Angel spoke clearly that the Lord was with Gideon, who underwent this phase. The angel said that Gideon and Israel would free his family didn't believe him, let alone the people, but when you trust in God and He is with you, you cause a stir, shake with the planet, with the world. Gideon was the smallest, but the Lord was with him. The family was poor and he was the smallest at home. That situation! Let's say you are the lowest in the world, if the Lord is with you, there are no barriers for you. You don't have to be the biggest, but you have the Lord with you, in your life in the first place. The wish of your heart is going to come true. Gideon amazed took the word. He went home to pick up an offer for the Angel. He prepared a lamb, asmos cakes and broth; he brought and showed the dinner to the Angel. The Angel consumed the offer and Gideon feared. God said that he wasn't afraid and Gideon raised an altar that says the Lord is peace that means where the Angel of the Lord comes, peace follows him. Now imagine Gideon call military forces to follow. Also, the brothers of David talked about him, that his father's sheep would be without protection, taunting David. Gossips exist everywhere to talk about our life. Gideon brought 22000 men with him, which reduced to 10000 and as God has no difficulty to act further diminished, to reach the number of 300 men. When you find that your success is in your hands, God simply leaves you alone, but everyone who glorifies God in the success and recognizes God in success, continues succeeding. The 300 who knelt down to drink, not guarding and they were afraid if he showed up danger, who drank up, taking his hand away, were those who God sent with Gideon. Those who fell not to the water before securing, had vision. Man and woman of God do not prostrate themselves in front of the need. Bow only before God. God has no opponents or obstacles, or wars for you. He hardened the heart of Pharaoh in Egypt in order to seem to have some because there's nothing that can be God's opponent. The Bible says that the Midianites were coming like locusts and Gideon went with just a few men with no resources. We've been through similar situations, dealing with huge cases without resources, without apparent chances. But the important thing is that the Lord is with thee. God doesn't want you to run away from the fight, but it is not you who will fight, God will fight for you. These 300 men went to war and none of them struggled, the Midianites and Amalekites were confused by God and killed themselves, the 300 were just witnesses of the power of God. Just raise your head, believe and go forward the rest God does.
