Start seeing God
To see God you need to be true, sincere, a transparent person
By: Bishop Amaury
“When Jesus went to Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples: Who says the people are the Son of Man? And they answered, Some say, John the Baptist; others: Elias; and others: Jeremiah or one of the prophets. But you, he continued, who do you say that I am? Answering Simon Peter, he said: You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. ”, Matthew 16: 13-16.
Jesus wanted to know who was seeing him. He was not concerned if people were talking about his clothes or if he was well dressed, he was not concerned with knowing who knew the truth.
Have you seen God? Seeing God is not seeing with natural eyes, but spiritual ones. It means having the sensitivity to see and hear it. To see God you need to be true, sincere, a transparent person. That is, do not be ashamed to ask God for forgiveness for the wrong acts you commit. For it is through sincerity that we see what God has for your life. “And it came to pass that when they were at table, taking the bread, he blessed it and, having broken it, gave it to them; then their eyes were opened and they recognized him; but he disappeared from their presence, ”Luke 24: 30-31. Perhaps you spent the whole walk with Jesus, but with your eyes closed. It is no use going to church, having the bible in your hands, that is not what will make you see God. Seeing God is when you recognize Him, when you truly give your life to Him. When you truly give your life to God, you can collapse the world, you may be experiencing difficulties, but nothing will shake you, because your covenant is established in Him, in the Almighty. Begin to see the Lord in your life, be sensitive to Him. May your day be blessed!
