“Here we can meet the true Love of God”

“My life was destroyed”, states Nelson Simplício Junior, 23, during the testimonial on the changes God has performed in his life. “My wife and I were living on the streets, sleeping on the ground, dirty, running out of money, stinking, with no financial resources, to such an extent to search for food in trash bins. For many days, we fed ourselves with rotten food. We didn`t have anything.”

Nelson`s wife, Loraine Cristine Ferreira, carrying the little Catherine, two months old, states. “We underwent the hardest time, which I believe no human being deserves undergoing, but we kept our faith in God and hopeful that it would come to the end. We didn`t either give up of God or trying to get a job, any change”.

Together the couple found the Worldwide Church of God`s Power. “It was the pick of our hard times, our edge”, explains Nelson. “When we got into the church, I stank, I was like a beggar, disgusting, but no one prejudged me. Everyone hugged, welcomed, paid attention on my family and me. Here we found the true Love of God. We started seeking God together with the church, passing the little towel “Be You A Blessing”, and use it to cover us. God brought His Providence and a boy from this church called me. He listened to our history and hired me to sell perfumes. He was the angel sent by God to our lives. He was the channel Jesus found to bless and change our situation.” says Nelson. “Thanks God, today we thrive.” testifies Loraine. “Our life is different now. We have our house, we are well groomed, we eat well, we work in sales, self-employed, we give the tithe, we are offerors, column in this ministry, we have good resources to raise our daughter. God is in this ministry and we are very thankful for everything He has done to us. Praise the Lord”.
