Sentenced to six months of life, Luzia Irene da Silva, 55, resident in Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro, found her salvation in Jesus. “First, I had a cancer in the utter. In 2013, I had another cancer in the intestines and this one affected all of the other internal organs. It was diagnosed with malignant tumor. Two doctors were hopeless and told me there was nothing to be done. The cardiologist told me that if I had been submitted to any surgical procedure, I would have died on the operating table. If nothing had been done, I would have died at home in six months. He called my family to warn them about the situation and told them to buy a coffin. The second doctor, however, said he would give it a try even being aware of the risk of failure.”

Fifteen days later, without eating and sentenced to die through the medical reports, Luzia preserved her faith. “I glorified God and thanked Him for the chance of being operated on by one of the doctors. I relieved my family saying that it would take place according to God`s wish. He was in charge of and I believed in Him. I talked to the surgeon and asked him not to take me to CTM. The doctor told me to trust in God and those words made me feel more confident. I took the little towel “Be You a Blessing” and put it on my head. I also took the bath towel “Be You a Blessing” from one of those old purposes to dry my body while I was in the hospital.

The nurses were amazed when they saw it. It was scheduled seven days hospitalized to recover from the surgery, but God left me there just three days.” Continued Luzia “The nurses couldn`t believe in the recovery that I underwent. Three days later I was discharged and all of them asked me how it was possible because the regular period of recovery was seven days. I have always said that it was Jesus who protected me. I was operated on Friday and discharged on Tuesday, the day of Urgent Miracle. I worship God for the miracle He performed in me very much”.
