“Like Peter, what I received is what I have, and I give it to those in need"

Together with thirty other men, all of them delivered from drugs through Gospel`s messages of Jesus`s salvation, the small entrepreneur Marcio Alexandre de Barros, 40, resident in Jandira, São Paulo, went onto the altar with Apostle Valdemiro Santiago, to testify the miracle performed by God in his life and in everyone`s lives, those who were with him. “I spent seventeen years dependent on drugs. I was arrested, caused much suffering to my family, besides destroying my own life. All this time I wasn`t happy either. It was at the bottom of the hill, seven years ago, I met Jesus through the work of the Worldwide Church of God`s Power. On the first day, I had contact with this ministry, I was delivered, and in short time, all of my life changed.

I am very thankful for God, and I decided to talk about this love that delivered me to everyone. I started to evangelize other young men and women enslaved by drugs. I used my life as testimonial while Lord thrived my life, opened doors, and I decided to do the same, bless the lives of others”.

The way Marcio found to bless and help other people`s lives was to come up with a house of drug addicted recovery. “I founded the Centro Mundial (WORLDWIDE CENTER) to restore drug users, where they are evangelized according to the Lord`s Word. God gave me the alternative of choosing my job, and I opted to invest in this institution to make a difference in people`s life through love. Like Peter, what I received is what I have and what I have, I give it to those who are in need”. Hugged with Apostle, Marcio thanked. “Without this ministry, Without Apostle Valdemiro Santiago`s life, I wouldn`t be anyone. Today the Worldwide Church of God`s Power also contribute to our institution with charity, helping us pay the bills, we also receive from the bishop Marcos Marcos as well as the Geracao Jovem Mundial (Worldwide Young Generation). We would face worse times if we didn`t receive those resources. I praise the Lord because this is the true gospel, to talk about Jesus Christ`s love and see lives being restored. I thank a lot for taking part in that.”
