“It started with a small wound that spread and got all over my body as if it was leprosy,” tells José Barros Leite, 76, resident in Presidente Venceslau, São Paulo. “I went to the doctor, I spent six years under treatment, and the disease just got worse and worse. It affected my eyes and my listening. I suffered a lot because it bled, and itched. I couldn`t go to the streets, couldn`t sleep nor have a shower”.

It was through faith in Jesus that José reached a miracle. “While I had to stay home because of the disease, I found the program of the Worldwide Church of God`s Power on TV and I saw people being healed from the same condition as mine. I cried out to God. One day, I hugged the TV set with Apostle Valdemiro Santiago praying and determining the cure of leprosy, and I was healed by the power of God. From that day on, I recovered my life. Today, I work in my own business. There is no sequel. I thank Jesus very much”.
