“I tried suicide three times due to much suffering I was going through. I asked God for my death many times.” Tells Nedina Ferreira Lemes, 37, resident of Rio dos Pais, Tocantins. “It was deep depression that prevented me from removing my life because of the thought of being unable of succeeding, regarding my life worthless, and I would never make any difference. The first time, I tried to commit suicide with a rope to hang myself, but the branch of the tree broke off before and my husband found me. The second time, I tried to slit my wrists, but my young son arrived at the right time and kept me from cutting myself. The third time, I took poison and acetone, but there was no effect on me, just like I ended up going to the hospital.

There were many times, driving, I released the driving wheel of the car to see if it turned or beat, I tried to throw the car into a hole and my husband took the direction and prevented us from dying. I spent seven months without sleeping I had no peace. So my husband wanted to divorce from me.

My life was destroyed, when I found the TV show of the World Church of the power of God and started watching the apostle who said I wouldn't do that anymore, as if he would talk to me without knowing me. Stirred my faith and, at the same time, I felt like something left me, I got out of my life and my depression and my suffering ended that same day. Since then, I have been released in the name of Jesus and my life has changed so much, I glorify God for this work and for everything He has done for me”.
